The head of NAK Naftogaz Ukrainy Oleg Dubina declares that Ukraine assumes obligations to deliver the Russian gas on the western border in full.
He told about it in Brussels within an emergency meeting of committee of European Parliament on foreign affairs, reports Interfax.
On it the Cudgel told the European parliamentarians the Ukrainian position concerning supply of the Russian gas to the European Union countries.
"That we discussed in Moscow is there was a request of the Ukrainian party, it wasn't a condition of renewal of supply of the Russian gas to Europe. Ukraine assumes the obligation: all gas which will come on the territory of Ukraine, will be transported, and on the western border we will give all volume of gas", - he told.
At the same time the Cudgel explained that in order that the gas transmission system existed and could transport gas in EU, a certain volume of gas which will ensure functioning of compressor stations and all equipment as a whole is necessary.
"Carrying out transit of the Russian gas to Europe, a certain volume of technical gas has to be used for ensuring transit", - he noted.
