The Somali pirates who have taken the Ukrainian vessel "Faina", refused services of intermediaries in negotiations concerning its release.
It was declared by the representative of pirates on the bank of Othman Farakh, reports "The 5th channel".
Pirates expect to agree directly with owners of the bulk carrier. Thus they hope for increase in the sum of repayment.
According to Farakh, the Somali intermediaries dragged out process of negotiations, informing only on a half of offered repayment. Now, pirates hope that affairs will go better.
In turn intermediaries in negotiations are criticized also by the acting as the captain "Faina" Vladimir Nikolsky.
In his opinion, the owner of a vessel Vadim Alperin doesn't know a real situation as his representatives hide from it information.
It is known that the Somali pirates captured "Faina" with military equipment and the weapon onboard September 25, 2008. Among crew members - 17 Ukrainians.
In "Newsweek" interview the head of the group which has taken a vessel, Shamun Indabur declared that negotiations on "Faina's" release broke from - for attempts of intermediaries to steal part of repayment
