The vessel Faina will arrive to Kenyan port Mombasa on February 11. Nina Karpacheva reported about it the representative of the Verkhovna Rada on human rights, transfers 5-й TV channel. According to her, in spite of the fact that seamen didn't manage to start the second engine, Faina moves with a speed up to 6-7 knots that promoted by a fair wind.
N. Karpacheva noted also that the problem of providing crew by summer and winter clothes is solved now.
From Kenya seamen by plane will leave for Kiev.
The vessel Faina was captured by the Somali pirates on September 25, 2008. The vessel followed under the flag of Belize to Kenya with freight of military equipment. Onboard a vessel 21 crew members: 17 citizens of Ukraine, three citizens of Russia and one citizen of Latvia. The captain of a vessel, the citizen of Russia Vladimir Kolobkov, died soon after vessel capture.
